I believe in the power of imperfection.
Just like a scar on the skin, spaces carry traces. As patina in architecture, they tell stories of change, growth and expression.
// What I do
I design scenographic spaces for brands, exhibitions, workplaces and experiences.
Every project begins with the same question:
How can a space communicate identity, evoke emotion and leave a lasting trace?
// Who I work with
I collaborate with brands, agencies and organisations that believe space is more than function — it is communication.
From international trade fairs and workplaces to showrooms, retail and cultural experiences.
// How I work
With a background in architecture, scenography and multidisciplinary creative direction, I combine spatial design with strategy, branding and storytelling.
Beyond design, I support teams through consulting, workshops and creative facilitation.
// Why SCARS
SCARS is built on the belief that spaces are never neutral.
They shape perception, influence behaviour and carry memory.
I don't design spaces to be seen.
I design spaces to be remembered.
Deep Dive:
Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of Kintsugi, I see fractures not as flaws, but as visible expressions of character. To me, design is neither flawless nor interchangeable. It is an aesthetic act of appreciation and transformation.
SCARS understands space as a form of storytelling - a dialogue between content and form, strategy and emotion, precision and atmosphere.
I work with the principles of spatial rhetoric: the deliberate shaping of meaning, impact and memory through space.
I don't think in formats or disciplines, but in possibilities — physical, digital and hybrid.
SCARS creates spaces that shape identity.
That evoke emotion.
That leave a trace.
SCARS …where spaces remember.
*CSI — Contemporary Spatial Identities
